FPL Hints: Fixture Algorithm Results (Gameweeks 1-10)



Arsenal

Fixtures (Grade C+): 3 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 3 difficult matches.
#HotPick - A. Sanchez is listed OOP and will be looking to make an instant impact.
#Punt - M. Ozil's form dipped in 13/14 but is now a World Cup winner & has new bite.
#Reject - L. Podolski is also a World Cup winner, but has stiff competition to get game time.

Aston Villa

Fixtures (Grade E): 1 easy  game, 4 reasonable fixtures & 5 difficult matches.
#HotPick - R. Vlaar is a strong cog in a mediocre team.
#Punt - D. Bent is out of favour, but can perform if he plays.
#Reject - J. Cole is way past his best and will be lucky to start.

Burnley 

Fixtures (Grade D): 2 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: D.  Ings scored a fair bit last season.
#Punt: M. Kightly is a winger that can chip in with occasional goals.
#Reject: Gilks will concede a fair bit between the sticks.

Chelsea

Fixtures (Grade A): 6 easy games, 2 reasonable fixtures & 2 difficult matches.
#HotPick: J. Terry is tried & tested; you know what you're getting.
#Punt: A. Schurrle is a World Cup winner who has a knack for scoring goals.
#Reject: F. Torres will be lucky to get a look in with Costa & Drogba.

Crystal Palace

Fixtures (Grade B-): 4 easy games, 2 reasonable games & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: J. Speroni kept a decent number of clean sheets last season.
#Punt: J. Puncheon is a box of tricks that can score from time-to-time.
#Reject: M. Chamakh won't score regularly & is sub-mediocre.

Everton

Fixtures (Grade B+): 5 easy games, 1 reasonable game & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: R. Lukaku has proven his class & can only get better.
#Punt: J . Stones is a rising star & may get more starts this season.
#Reject: S. Piennar is an ex-Budget FPL points magnet who is now in decline.

Hull

Fixtures (Grade C): 3 easy games, 3 reasonable games & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: C. Davies is captain fantastic after Hull's successful 13/14 season.
#Punt: T. Ince has a point to prove in top tier and he shouldn't disappoint.
#Reject: Y. Sagbo is cheap but will be overshadowed by Long & Jelavic.

Leicester

Fixtures (Grade D): 2 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: K. Schmeichel has played in the PL & will be his team's rock.
#Punt:  M. Upson is an ageing PL winner that can defend in the top tier.
#Reject: M. Albrighton had one semi-good PL season in 10/11; done nothing since.

Liverpool

Fixtures (Grade A-): 5 easy games, 3 reasonable fixtures & 2 difficult matches.
#HotPick: D. Sturridge will be LFC's main source of goals.
#Punt: R. Lambert gets better with age.
#Reject: J. Ibe is talked up as the next Sterling, but he isn't ready yet.

Man City

Fixtures (Grade C+): 3 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 3 difficult matches.
#HotPick: Y. Toure should carry on scoring and assisting from midfield.
#Punt: E. Dzeko will get more game-time with Negredo out injured.
#Reject: J. Milner is cheap for a City midfielder but he is a utility player.

Man Utd

Fixtures (Grade A+): 7 easy games, 1 reasonable fixture & 2 difficult matches.
#HotPick: R. Van Persie's link up with LVG will put him in good stead.
#Punt: J. Mata is no pushover and should do well under the new setup.
#Reject: J. Hernandez shouldn't be a backup, but he is down in the pecking order.

Newcastle

Fixtures (Grade C-): 3 easy games, 3 reasonable fixtures & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: R. Cabella could be a OOP after his goal scoring last season.
#Punt: Ex-Ajax captain, won Dutch title last year has pedigree at hand.
#Reject: A. Perez was playing tier 2 in Spain last season & needs time to develop.

QPR

Fixtures (Grade B-): 4 easy games, 2 reasonable games & 4 difficult matches.
#HotPick: S. Caulker can defend well and even score from time-to-time
#Punt: R. Ferdinand is a multiple PL winner who is listed as a cheap defender.
#Reject: J. Barton is as good with the odd set piece as he is with the odd red card.

Southampton

Fixtures (Grade A): 5 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 1 difficult match.
#HotPick: D. Tadic will be the main attacking threat following the "Southampton Exodus". 
#Punt: N. Clyne has attacking prowess and also possesses sound defensive capabilities.
#Reject: G. Ramirez may get more game time now, but has yet to prove himself in the PL.

Stoke

Fixtures (Grade A): 4 easy games, 5 reasonable fixtures & 1 difficult match.
#HotPick: Bojan is an ex-wonderkid that will be ready to rejuvenate himself.
#Punt: P. Odemwingie is listed OOP and has a good goalscoring record in the PL.
#Reject: J. Walters may be squeezed out of Stoke's new setup.

Sunderland

Fixtures (Grade B-): 3 easy games, 5 reasonable games & 2 difficult matches:
#HotPick: V. Mannone's heroics last season were key to Sunderland staying up.
#Punt: C. Wickham had a good end to 13/14, which he can continue from GW1.
#Reject: D. Graham has never been the same post-Swansea & isn't first choice.

Swansea

Fixtures (Grade B+): 4 easy games, 4 reasonable games & 2 difficult matches.
#HotPick: W. Bony will carry on from last year as being their main goal threat.
#Punt: G. Sigurdsson reunites with his ex-club where he had good times before.
#Reject: Ki showed glints of promise last season, but may find it difficult this season.

Tottenham

Fixtures (Grade B): 4 easy games, 3 reasonable games & 3 difficult matches.
#HotPick: C. Eriksen lived up to his billing last season & should do the same again.
#Punt: B. Davies has done well in the PL and can only get better at Spurs.
#Reject: E. Lamela is over-priced and has yet to prove himself in the PL.

West Brom

Fixtures (Grade C+): 3 easy games, 4 reasonable fixtures & 3 difficult matches.
#HotPick: B. Foster is a safe pair of hands for a mid-table club.
#Punt: A. Wisdom could be a star if he plays regularly for WBA.
#Reject: C. Brunt's goal scoring & assist making prowess has declined since 2010.

West Ham

Fixtures (Grade E+): 1 easy  game, 4 reasonable fixtures & 5 difficult matches.
#HotPick: K. Nolan appears to be WHUFC's only proven PL goalscorer at present.
#Punt: E. Valencia did well last season, had a good World Cup & may surprise us in the PL.
#Reject: S. Downing isn't as good as he used to be and may be lucky to start this season.
