#FlyBuy - GW11

Welcome back to the latest instalment of FlyBuy. A weekly feature whereby I curse a Premier League player into performing to the level normally associated with Sunday parks football. Not my intent, but Wilfried Bony aside (and even he went off the boil last week) all of my picks this season have been absolute garbage.

The ACTUAL intention of FlyBuy is to draw your attention to a player who - for one reason or another - has not been picking up FPL points, but who I think could go on a points scoring run. Maybe they are returning from injury, have fallen out of favour, or perhaps have just been suffering from a catastrophic loss of form (think Aston Villa defenders...)

Last week's pick was Arsenal man Santi Cazorla. Although he did ok on the pitch in "real life", in FPL terms he only picked up appearance points and a clean sheet point. Marvellous. Still, the other factor FlyBuy adheres to is that it is NOT just a one off pick for a single Gameweek. There are many other FPL accounts who cover off that aspect of punditry. Instead, FlyBuy is based on a projected 5 week outlook, hence why the scores in the signature block below only take into account 5 GW's from the time the selection was made. Are you with me? Good. The final factor I try to apply is low ownership. I personally consider anything below 5% to be a differential, and anything below 2.5% to be an uber-differential.

This week's pick comes from a team currently in a little bit of a mini-crisis, although they did pick up 3 points in one of the biggest games of their season last week in GW10. However, that was sandwiched in between a loss in the PL in GW9 and a loss in the UCL in midweek this week.

The player I am tipping (or dooming) this week is currently owned by 3.4% of managers (thereby satisfying the differential requirement), has not completed 90 minutes in the League all season and indeed has only featured in 6/10 of the Gameweeks this season so far. His minutes have been gradually building up though, and he completed 70 minutes in GW10. I believe he will be the main man in the evening kick-off this Saturday though, when his team travel to West London to take on QPR.

I actually have a sneaking suspicion QPR may emerge victorious in this encounter, which will certainly be a shock result. I think his partner in crime, Sergio Aguero will be rested (many disagree with me) and it will be up to Eden Dzeko, and this week's FlyBuy pick, Stevan Jovetic to lead the line. He hasn't scored since bagging a brace vs Liverpool in GW2 so it's about time he rediscovered his touch. He'll get game time, he just needs to make sure he translates it into goals.
