After a week of Carabao Cup shocks, it's back to Premier League action this weekend. FPL managers around the globe will once again try and second guess Pep Guardiola whilst there's mixed injury news for Man Utd and Chelsea. Dave Black takes a look at the fantasy football options ahead of game week 7.
Pep roulette bit hard last week for a lot of FPL managers. Raheem Sterling was the victim this week as he sat out for the first time this season. Kyle Walker owners were left disappointed as he was subbed before the hour whilst Sergio Aguero played 90 minutes and managed a goal and an assist despite Man City racking up eight goals. It's been that sort of season.
Man City face a trip to Everton which looks a lot less of a banana skin than it did a few weeks ago, whilst there are appetising home games for Chelsea and Tottenham. In a way, the Carabao games have given us a clue to the teams this weekend - except in Pep's case where better men than me have tried to predict.
With that, here are five picks for the FPL weekend ahead.
1) Raheem Sterling (Man City, Midfield, £12.1m)
It's been over a month since Raheem Sterling had an FPL return. Blanks against Bournemouth, Norwich and a non-appearance against Watford have lead to over 100,000 managers transferring the England man out of their teams. Sterling returned to goalscoring form in the Carabao Cup win at Preston but will that translate to FPL points?
