Welcome back gang! Hopefully you are all suitably refreshed following the last International Break of the season? We now enter the business end of the FPL campaign. This is where heroes are made and dreams are shattered. For me personally, this is exactly where the wheels came off my season this year, and I'm hoping lightning doesn't strike twice!
As you all know by now, my FlyBuy pick has an active period of five gameweeks, so although last week's selection of Gabby Agbonlahor may have flopped in the home defeat to Swansea, he was picked really for the potential of his double gameweek returns this time out. It would be too easy to look again at Villa, or QPR for this week's pick as well, but I dont think that would be a wise move.
Instead, I've decided to take a look at a team who have an attractive looking next five fixtures, and in particular a player who still has a high ownership percentage despite his terrible points returns. I think it's fair to say, many of the 24.4% of managers who own him abandoned their teams a long time ago. However, there will still be some active teams who have stuck by him, or who are thinking along the same lines as me - an explosive return to form is imminent!
